Google OAuth & User Data

UplinkHost uses Google OAuth solely to allow users to securely sign in to their UplinkHost account. When a user chooses “Sign in with Google,” we request only the basic authentication scopes: openid, email, and profile.

Through these scopes, we may receive the user's Google account email address, full name, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use this information only to authenticate the user, create or identify their UplinkHost account, maintain account security, and provide access to UplinkHost services.

UplinkHost does not access Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, calendars, or other Google service content through Google Sign-In.

Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or used for AI or machine-learning model training. We do not disclose Google user data to third parties except where required for security, legal compliance, or providing services requested by the user.

Google-derived account information that is retained as part of the user's UplinkHost account is protected using appropriate technical and organizational security measures. Users may request deletion of their UplinkHost account and associated personal information at any time by contacting [email protected].

UplinkHost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
